Elyssa Moss Rabinowitz

Elyssa Moss Rabinowitz creates worlds of Jewish meaning and beauty by using all forms of media to create interactive, participatory events and programs of Jewish content. She is a co-founder and the Executive Director of Kol HaOt - Illuminating Jewish Life through Art, a Jerusalem-based organization dedicated to weaving the magic of the arts into Jewish educational experiences.

Located in the beautiful artist colony in Hutzot HaYotzer in Jerusalem, Kol HaOt creates immersive experiences, host workshops, gallery exhibits, performing arts events, and an artist-in-residence program. They develop educational content and resources, as well as professional development programs for Jewish educators and artists.

An experienced facilitator and Jewish educator, Elyssa loves learning one-on-one, as well as bringing people together through meaningful Jewish experiences. Elyssa serves as a Jewish Journey coach for Schusterman fellows and others, and as adjunct faculty for M²: The Institute for Experiential Jewish Education.

Previously, Elyssa founded and ran A Day Away productions, created and teaches the Zer Mitzvot experience for Bat Mitzvah girls, has worked on creative content for television at Techelet Jewish Television and has acted in and produced live theater.

Originally from California, Elyssa has lived in Jerusalem most of her life, with her life partner Dovi, and their five children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and dog!
