Rabbi Marcelo Kormis

Rabbi Marcelo is a knowledgeable, engaging and resourceful educator. He currently teaches at various universities and institutes around the world - Sacred Heart University (USA), the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies (Israel), Universidad Catolica de Chile and Universidad Alberto Hurtado (Chile). He hold a B.A. in Bible and Jewish Philosophy from Haifa University and an M.A. from Machon Schechter in Jerusalem. He received his rabbinic ordination (semicha) from the Seminario Rabinico in Buenos Aires, and graduated from the Senior Educators Program (Mechanchim Bechirim) from the Hebrew University. Rabbi Marcelo also attended Yeshivat Machon Meir in Jerusalem.
When he is not teaching, he loves to play soccer, to cook a delicious South American style BBQ and meeting with friends. Rabbi Kormis is married to Fernanda, and they are blessed with four children.
