Growing up, the places where I felt the most "at-home" were places of Jewish learning - camp, youth group, synagogue, religious school. There was something about these settings that allowed me to be an authentic version of myself, and I loved it. Fast forward and it isn't surprising that I have spent the last 20 years in Jewish education hoping to create spaces for other learners to find themselves through the wisdom of Jewish learning.
This path has led me to positions in day schools, community organizations, congregations, and currently overnight camp. I have focused on adult learning, teen engagement, and even pursued a Master's in Early Childhood Education to better understand the unique nature of our youngest learners. I love getting lost in learning, making connections across time, space, and genres, and bringing these insights to today's crazy world.
