MEET

Rabbi Jen Gubitz

With her humor and insight, Rabbi Jen Gubitz builds communities and content that elevate Jewish wisdom’s capacity to speak to our human condition. A midwesterner at heart, Jen loves meeting new people, listening to their stories and helping them figure out how to bring Judaism into their lives. Among many interests, she is passionate about exploring the deep wisdom of the Jewish calendar, learning through short stories, poetry, essays and historical fiction, spiritual writing, and Mussar - the practice of becoming our highest selves through Jewish values. Jen also has experience in supporting people through major life transitions and grief journeys.

Jen is the co-host of the OMfG Podcast: Jewish Wisdom for Unprecedented Times and her writing appears in the Boston Globe, Jewish Daily Forward, EJewishPhilanthropy, OnBeing, the Mussar Torah Commentary, and Lilith Magazine. Jen is a graduate of Indiana University and Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (NY). She loves cold brew and puns and lives with her husband Matan and their dog Joey in Boston.
