Rachel Raz

Rachel Raz is an educator, creator and an entrepreneur with extensive experience across the Jewish world and the founder of multiple initiatives with global reach. She is passionate about the advancement and growth of individuals and communities, and the creation of a more interconnected, inclusive and thriving world.

She is a consultant and a frequent invited speaker for many organizations. Rachel is the founder and executive producer of the Space Torah Project and film that preserves and shares the journey of NASA astronaut Dr. Jeff Hoffman. She is Moishe House’s East Coast Regional Jewish educator and a mentor to students at the American Jewish University’s (AJU) Jewish Education and Leadership program.

For over a decade Rachel led the Early Childhood Institute of Hebrew College graduate school of Jewish Education. During this time, she initiated and chaired the Annual Educators’ Conference. She directed the Boston Haifa Early Childhood Educators’ Connection, a program sponsored by Combined Jewish Philanthropy (CJP) and the Haifa Municipality. Likewise, Rachel designed and led educational seminars in Israel and Boston for educators and professionals. She has published multiple articles and books.

Rachel earned her BA from Bar-Ilan University (Israel) and MJED from Hebrew College (Newton, MA). (
