Rabbi Caleb Brommer

Hello! I'm Caleb Bromberg. I'm a long-time teacher of Jewish stuff, facilitator of Jewish activities, and lover of Jewish life. I'm a rabbinical student at the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) in Manhattan, where I live with my partner and dog.

I am particularly interested in how to build a robust and rigorous Jewish world where we are are committed to one another, all of humanity, our earth, and the Divine (whatever that means to you!). I'm invested in developing personalized Jewish devotional practices of prayer, text learning, language learning, and community organizing.

I've been an educator for my entire career and I am deeply committed to student-centered learning. So whatever you want to learn, however you want to build our experiences together, I'll find a way to make it work, explore with you, and learn with and from you.

When I'm not teaching or being taught in a classroom, I'm likely biking, cooking something delicious and vegetarian, bowling, mini-golfing, or watching basketball.
