Ayal Beer

Hello friends! My name Is Ayal Beer, I am a son of parents who moved to Israel from NYC and lived my entire life in Israel. I live in the north of Israel on kibbutz Hannaton and am part of a non-denominational egalitarian community. The choice to move to Hannaton with my family after 7 years in Jerusalem was part of our desire to live in a Jewish space and community that reflects our values. In terms of my profession I am an experiential educator, educational consultant and currently manage a leadership program in Kibbutz Hannaton as part of the Hannaton Educational center. The program I manage is aimed for pre army Israelis and is focused on social action and Jewish education. In the past 10 years I have been working also as a tour guide in Israel with many educational groups and have also been involved in holocaust education mainly leading teen trips to Poland. I hold an M.A. from Shechter institute in Talmudic studies, my Bachelor degree is from Bar-Ilan university in social work , I am a licensed tour guide and a certificate from the M2 Senior Educators Cohort. I would love to hold a conversation with you and learn together through old and new texts that might help us both to get a better understanding on who me are and where do we want to go.
