MEET

Jessica Rosenberg

Hi, I'm Jessica! I'm a Jewish educator, experiential educator and ritualist. I am obsessed with Jewish time, weddings, water, magical rituals, and the practices of Jewish communities across the world. I'm a native New Yorker and currently live in the woods near the Point Reyes National Seashore, just north of San Francisco. I'm currently the Senior Jewish Educator at OneTable. I've worked in the Jewish space for a decade on the East and West Coasts of the U.S., in Poland and in Israel, previously working at the Osher Marin JCC, Mayyim Hayyim, Anu Museum of the Jewish People, JCC Krakow where I served as a JDC Fellow, the Taube Center for the Renewal of Jewish Life in Poland and more. I have a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School where I studied Jewish tradition and ritual and a BA in Philosophy from Kenyon College. I also host a community radio show with my husband called 'Planet Shabbes' about the intersection of Jewish wisdom and (secular) music.

I believe that Judaism and our traditions hold the wisdom that allows us to make meaning out of the flow of time and the transitions in our lives, and I hope to make that come alive for you as well! I'm thrilled to dive into learning with you on Torah, how to create your own ritual, Jewish rituals broadly or more specifically, celebrating Jewish holidays, living your life in balance with the flow of Jewish time, considering what rituals to have at your wedding, Jewish herbalism, Polish-Jewish history, Shabbat (of course!), and more!
