Brooklyn Michalowicz

Brooklyn Michalowicz is a rising third-year Rabbinical student at HUC-JIR in New York City. Currently living in Jerusalem, Brooklyn is spending the year studying at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies where she is also pursuing a certificate in Jewish Experiential Education. She graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Sociology and later served as the Birthright Israel Coordinator at Columbia/Barnard Hillel. She has since been a teacher at Westchester Reform Temple and is an alumna of the iEngage Campus Fellowship with the Shalom Hartman Institute in NYC as well as the YESH Institute Fellowship with the UJA Federation of NY. Her passions are hosting creative community events and facilitating conversations about personal conceptions of God.
