MEET

Rabbi Arielle Stein

Arielle is a visual artist, educator, and rabbinical student at Hebrew Union College in New York. Originally from Long Island, she has spent much of her adult life living in Brooklyn and Tel Aviv. Arielle loves to explore sacred text, spirituality and Jewish civilization through chavruta study, visual art, writing, and theater.

Arielle has studied at New York University and the Hadar Institute. She has taught at Colby College, Columbia-Barnard Hillel, The Center for Small Town Jewish Life, Dorot University Without Walls as well as synagogues in New York, Maine, and Tennessee.

As an educator, Arielle is passionate about integrating diverse forms of creativity and learning styles. Arielle is particularly drawn to working with Jews on the fringe, and those who are new to Judaism.

Arielle is a graduate of New York University and has exhibited her artwork internationally. She is currently developing a graphic novel focused on the Song of Songs.
