Nikki Golomb

Nikki is a fourth-year rabbinical student at Hebrew College, a pluralistic rabbinical school, currently learning at Pardes for her year in Israel. Prior to moving to Boston for rabbinical school, Nikki graduated from the University of Delaware, after which she spent a year learning, traveling and volunteering. She then worked for Hillel at UC San Diego, where she fell deeper in love with Jewish learning and working with the Jewish community.

As a queer woman who first discovered her love for Jewish learning in college, Nikki is passionate about making Jewish texts accessible to everyone, particularly those who have not had access to Jewish learning in the past. She loves learning about Jewish time and the year cycle, queerness and sexuality, feminism, health and healing, angelology and demonology, midrash, and justice Torah. As a self-described grammar nerd, Nikki is happy to spend time learning “big picture” concepts as well as doing a close reading of the text. When not learning, Nikki can be found painting, embroidering, or befriending the neighborhood dogs.
