At the Jewish Learning Collaborative, you choose a Jewish educator to guide your learning. JLC's educators are rabbis, cantors, PhDs, graduate students, and veteran teachers – all with years of training and professional experience and all vetted to be sure that they are approachable and engaging.
You'll begin your learning journey with a 30-minute conversation to help identify your goals and the types of educators who might best match your style. You'll explore what you want to learn, and what kinds of teachers, coaches, or mentors are a great fit for you. You'll be offered multiple educator options and invited to peruse their bios before deciding where you want to begin. You can change educators at any time if your interests evolve or you are ready for a change. Or you can stick with the same educator for years and years.
There are more than 150 Jewish Learning Collaborative educators living in the United States, South America, Europe, and Israel. They come from different Jewish backgrounds and communities, and you can choose to learn with someone who has a different perspective than yours or to learn with someone whose values or experiences align with your own. Whoever you pick, you will find an educator who loves sharing Jewish wisdom and getting to know their learners.
