MEET

Rabbi Aya Baron

Rabbi Aya Baron (she/her) is a mystic, feminist scholar, and ritualist offering earth-based Jewish programs, educational consultation, life-cycle ritual, and spiritual mentorship through her initiative, Revayah.

Ordained by the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, she has served congregations as scholar-in-residence and as a student rabbi, co-authored earth-based practice guides with Shamir Collective, and as a program director at Wilderness Torah, and participated in the Wexner Graduate Fellowship. Her most recent publication is Expanding the Field: A DIY Rosh Hashanah Companion (Ayin Press, 2025), for which she is a coauthor. She holds a B.A. in Contemplative Education from Brown University and an M.A. in Jewish Studies from the Graduate Theological Union.

Aya lives in West Philadelphia on Lenni-Lenape land, where she delights in family life, adventures near and far, and watching the sunset from her roof.
